Background
I worked with Orkin Pest Control and Rollins for four years on various web projects, including a complete website redesign project in 2013/2014. Since the launch of the redesign, several additional website updates and additions have been completed. My role on this account evolved over the four years from UX resource to UX lead and strategist.
Website Redesign
Project Overview
In 2013, Orkin changed its brand positioning to "Pest Control Down to a Science." Our job was to give them a new, responsive website that combined both the commercial and residential website into one that aligned with the new brand positioning.
My Role
I created personas, prepared for and conducted user research with initial concepts, performed a competitive/comparative analysis to inform overall strategy, assisted in creating the site map and wireframes for a large-scale responsive web redesign.
